Silver is second place to gold, many may say. Sure, in classical sports it is, but there’s an appeal to being No. 2, trust us. Much like the classic Avis vs. Hertz ads, Silver plays second fiddle to Gold most of the time but as the old saying goes, “when you’re only No. 2, you try harder”. With that in mind, there’s a certain confidence in silver paper that is unavailable to gold. Silver knows it has a rougher lot in life but when it wins, it wins through its own merit and not because of others’ preference for flashiness. Still, some may argue that silver paper is no better than gray, and again we’d beg to differ. Silver is simply elegant and elegantly simple, both valuable and available. So think twice about being number two for a minute, because being second best isn’t always a loss, in fact in most competitions, it’s a win.
